A purpose-driven leader with over 30 years of cross-functional experience in IT, D&I, and social development space. Ashok led NASSCOM Foundation by aligning, scaling, sustaining initiatives that propelled the industry in achieving its goals of social transformation and impact through technology. At NASSCOM, over 5 years, he has donned multiple hats at leadership level.

Redefined Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) portfolio, NASSCOM’s 80% clientele base, to newer heights by helping them scale businesses globally through global trade opportunities. Strategized NASSCOM’s regional member outreach to expand and include businesses in non-Tier I locations by liaising with government authorities for ease of doing business.

Enabled networking opportunities with large business houses. Transformed non-performing assets into performing trends for the IT-BPM industry ecosystem. Initiated disruptive initiatives to strengthen NASSCOM’s skilling-reskilling goals and led the industry’s vision to build a work environment that embraces equity, equality, and inclusion. Government relationships, partnerships, policy, and advocacy is his forte. His road map for D&I as a practice and culture for the IT-BPM Industry members has pivoted from being nationally focused to globally collaborated with key stakeholders.

As a 30-year IT industry veteran, Ashok has worked with IBM as a Geo Expansion Leader and HP/Compaq/Digital as a transformation leader. He has the acumen of investing in, building, and nurturing people, managers, and teams that hold up the organizations’ vision. Expertise in both strategy and operations management, incorporating the right systems and processes to deliver a seamless and transparent experience for all stakeholders with the underlining principle of trust and collaboration.
