Abhaya drives the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) vertical at Parity, where she partners with organizations to implement all provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. She has worked with organizations across industries, from start-ups to factory set-ups, to develop context-specific POSH solutions that are aligned with legal compliance. She has also advised clients on implementation strategies. At Parity, she introduced a socio-legal framework to all POSH content and content delivery. From drafting anti-sexual harassment policies to writing case reports as an external member, she is skilled in being a service partner for all POSH requirements.

She is an International Studies Major from Kenyon College, Ohio, USA. She has also  completed an Executive Certification in Sexual Harassment Prevention and Workplace Diversity by National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.

She serves as a resource for Sexual Harassment Cases that are handled by Parity Consulting, besides sitting on IC committees as an External Member. She serves as an external member for ten different organizations, and has investigated over twenty-five complaints. She also worked extensively on a best practices report that was released by Parity in collaboration with Trilegal and commissioned by NASSCOM. The report surveyed 120 plus organizations to cull out best practices of IC members.

Committed to the cause of diversity and safety at workplaces, she believes that it is a social and legal responsibility for all organizations to ensure that their workplaces are free of sexual harassment.
