Dr. Shweta Kushal

Dr. Shweta Kushal is currently an Assistant Professor of Communications at the Indian Institute of Management Indore, India. She teaches various aspects of communication and behaviour including Gender and Diversity and Emotional Intelligence among others to MBA participants and practicing managers. She has been engaged in research that reflects a strong commitment to gender and cultural studies. Her strong commitment to gender equality and parity, one of the sociocultural causes she truly believes in and has worked towards incessantly, can be witnessed in her endeavour to create a safer workplace at The Indian Institute of Management Indore during her tenure as the Presiding Officer of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee (Internal Complaints Committee) as well as an external member for the ICC at IIT Indore. She has deep faith in the value of revolutionary ideas, fruitful discussions, and pushing boundaries to achieve sustainable outcomes, particularly in the context of social and cultural engagement.
